UV coatings

“UV LED coating curing” refers to the process of using ultraviolet light-emitting diodes (UV LEDs) to harden or solidify a coating applied to a surface.

In this process, the UV LEDs emit ultraviolet light of a specific wavelength and intensity. The energy from this light initiates chemical reactions within the coating material, causing it to crosslink and form a solid, durable layer. This method offers several benefits such as faster curing times, lower energy consumption, reduced heat generation, and more precise control over the curing process compared to traditional curing methods that use mercury lamps or other UV sources.
