High efficacy, deep dimming performance, reliability, robustness, and flexibility are crucial criteria for indoor lighting and applications. ams OSRAM (SIX: AMS), a global leader in intelligent sensors and emitters, is now presenting new mid-power LEDs that embody all these essential features. The OSCONIQ® S 3030 GW QSLMS1.SM (CRI80) and GW QSLMS1.KM (CRI 90) represent a new generation of ultra-efficient, mid-power LEDs that are purpose-built for high-performance indoor lighting. Additionally, the company launches highest-efficacy LEDs within its 2835 platform: the DURIS® E 2835 GW JTLPS1.SM (CRI 80) and GW JTLPS1.KM (CRI 90). These white mid-power 3 V LEDs not only deliver exceptional luminous efficacy, but also high reliability and flexibility in a compact footprint.
The OSCONIQ® S 3030 offers luminous efficacy ratings of up to 235 lm/W at 4000K (CRI 80) and advanced features such as deep-dimming capability and precise color control. The LED reduces maintenance cycles making it perfect for office panels, troffers, and continuous linear lighting. When integrated into high-bay and low-bay fixtures, it provides consistent illumination in warehouses and manufacturing spaces. With high color rendering options (CRI 80 and CRI 90) and a wide CCT range from 2700K to 6500K, the OSCONIQ® S 3030 also optimizes architectural accents and retail displays. Its superior hydrogen sulfide resistance and robust thermal cycling performance ensures long-term stability, even in harsh operating conditions.
The DURIS® E 2835 LED is meticulously designed for recessed panels, linear luminaires, and downlight applications. This LED delivers high system efficacy with typical outputs of 225 lm/W (CRI 80) and 207 lm/W (CRI 90) at 4000 K and 0.5 W input power. Its compact 2835 footprint, combined with deep-dimming capability down to 1 mA and tight color binning options (≤3 SDCM), makes it a high-efficiency solution for demanding indoor commercial lighting designs, for example in healthcare facilities and commercial buildings. With high lumen-per-watt performance, corrosion resistance, and a robust solder pad design for drop-in compatibility, the DURIS® E 2835 LED is also ideal for industrial settings and warehouse installations requiring durable high-output solutions. The LED series supports a wide CCT range from 2700K to 6500K and delivers dependable long-term performance with LM-80 L90 > 36,000 hours at 105°C.
With the OSCONIQ® S 3030 and the DURIS® E 2835 customers can choose to either stick with existing designs or use other ones. While the OSCONIQ offers slightly higher efficacy power and longer lifetime, the DURIS is a more economical option. Having both products in their portfolio ams OSRAM provides the right one for all applications and customer requirements.
